match on action

put together these images would create a form of match on action. Match on action is where you will see a person doing some form of action and then see a shot of them doing the rest of the action from a different shot. for example a person walking through a door will start with them pulling the handle and opening the door , then the shot will change to where they are walking through the door from a different angle.

shot reverse shot

shot reverse shot is where the camera is placed behind one of the characters shoulders and then the clip will go to the other characters shoulder and back again. this is shot reverse shot.

180 degree line

The line of action is where the camera can only move anywhere within a 180 degree line .
